Earlier, in August 2019, Hyderabad Angels and some other clutch of investors and high net-worth individuals led a pre-Series A round funding and Vogueme Technologies, which owns and operates video meta-tagging platform Toch, raised a huge undisclosed amount.
The company emerged in 2016 with the collaboration of founders Vinayak Srivastav, Saket Dandotia and Alok Patil. The platform Toch auto-detects various touchpoints in data format embedded inside video content organically through its proprietary Artificial Intelligence (AI). Furthermore, it claims to support online video creators, media companies, advertisers and OTT platforms to thrive in digital video, across all platforms, through its insights, attained by the usage of AI and Deep Learning.
Recently, in a bridge round of funding led by a Gurugram-based investor, the 4-year old startup raised over $400,000.
In a statement, Srivastav had told, “Toch has successfully implemented enabling meta-tagging for live sporting events, live shows, library-based content for streaming platforms and is venturing into broadcasting meta-tagging simultaneously.”
