We are pleased to announce the appointment of Kalyan Sivalenka, CFA as Managing Partner of Hyderabad Angels Fund, alongside Rathnakar Samavedam. Following formal approval from SEBI, Kalyan will take on a leadership role in managing the Fund’s operations and investment strategy.
Kalyan Sivalenka is a seasoned investment professional with over 20 years of expertise spanning investment banking, private wealth management, and investment management. He is the Founder and Managing Director of Springforth Capital Advisors, a firm specializing in mid-market investment banking and capital advisory across key sectors such as Lifesciences, Logistics, Consumption, and IT.
His extensive experience and strategic vision will be instrumental in driving the Fund’s growth and success. He serves on the board of Megasoft Ltd and other advisory boards. As a Board Member at SRiX and Co-Chair at the India CFA Society, he plays a key role in the investment and startup ecosystem.
We are also delighted to strengthen the Advisory Board of Sponsor Vehicle with the induction of accomplished entrepreneurs and seasoned investors. Each of these distinguished professionals has been actively investing in the startup ecosystem for over a decade, with a portfolio of 15+ startups and multiple successful exits. Their collective expertise will provide invaluable guidance to our Fund’s investment strategy and portfolio management.

- Pradeep Mittal, Ex-Chairman, Hyderabad Angels – A veteran entrepreneur and investor with over 30 years of experience, Ex-Founder, Magna Infotech Private Limited.
- Rajesh Manthena, Ex-Chairman, Hyderabad Angels – An entrepreneur and investor with more than 20 years of experience, Ex-Founder, Citizen Hospital, and Director, CCA.
