Sravan Vankina is a venture capitalist with investments in the pharma, med-tech, and waste management space.
Sravan graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a degree in Computer Science and Robotics. He started out working as an IBM consultant before switching to the educational software sector, where he built tools used to educate 4 million students across the United States. Post his ed-tech experience, Sravan joined a small team at SocialFlow, where he designed prediction algorithms to enhance audience engagement for the world’s largest media companies.
After his experience in the tech sector, Sravan attended the University of Michigan, where he graduated with High Distinction, attaining an MBA focused on finance and entrepreneurship. Post-MBA, he helped push through some M&A and private equity deals before moving on to algorithmic trading of options and forex. He moved back to India at the end of 2017 and currently spends his time looking for interesting companies and real estate opportunities.
