Hyderabad Angels (HA) is India’s premier platform that connects established angel investors and new generation entrepreneurs to provide support to the global and Indian start-up ecosystem. After many successful investments and exits, they recently invested in PlanetSpark.
Founded by Maneesh Dhooper and Kunal Malik, PlanetSpark was established in the year 2016, which aims at providing neighborhood learning zones where children not only learn but also develop ‘new-age’ skills under one single roof. This Gurugram-based ed-tech startup raised around Rs 3.2 crore ($448k) in pre-series-A funding where Hyderabad Angels were one of the major investors. Indian Angel Network, Lead Angels, existing seed investor, and FIITJEE Limited also participated in the investments.
PlanetSpark aims at using the funds for expanding the business into new geographies and increasing enrolments by 10x over the next 12-15 months.
