Dr. Raj Vishnu (also known as Prasad Raj Vishnubhotla) has 44 years of R&D work experience in Computer Science, of which 34 years was in the USA. From 1997 till the end of 2015, he was leading software architectures for IBM USA in the areas of Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, Business Process Management, Stream Processing, Big Data, Cloud PaaS, and Cloud Marketplaces. Raj authored 6 patents issued to IBM in business process optimization, data mining, and analytics.

Before working for IBM, Raj was an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Ohio-State University, Columbus for 8 years, and later while pursuing entrepreneurship in high-performance computing for 3 years, also taught in Computer Science at the University of Texas, Austin as an Adjunct Associate Professor. In his early career, Raj worked for 10 years at India’s National Software Center in T.I.F.R., Mumbai, building multi-processor software. His work on Multiprocessor Operating Systems at T.I.F.R. was published as a book by Prentice-Hall International in 1984. During these years, Raj also obtained his Ph.D. from TIFR.
