Rathnakar is a Chartered Accountant, PGDBA from Symbiosis University Pune, and IIM Bangalore Alumni.
He has a total of 18 years of experience in the field of Corporate Finance, Fund Raising, Risk Assessment, Audit, and Taxation.
Currently, he is Investment Director & Portfolio Manager at Hyderabad Angels. Currently, HA has done 37 investments with 4 exits with an average return of 3X. Before joining HA, he worked with start-ups helping them streamline finance and operation functions. He was also active in fundraising activities for start-ups. At HA, he works closely with all the portfolio companies in terms of both compliance and building processes to achieve scale.
Prior to that, He worked with Spencers Retails Part of RPG Group, ICICI bank in SMEAG Lending division as Regional Head & Head of Corporate Finance with Prolifics (A leading IT Consulting firm with 1500 people having a presence in USA, Canada, UK, and India).
