Samrat Irons Pvt Ltd is a family owned business with revenues of INR 1000 crores and are the Authorized Distributor for Tata Steel (Long & Flat Products). Aditya’s responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for sales and marketing, designed strategies to set up a retail network and tap into SME customers
  • Developed a retail chain of 300 + dealers in Andhra and Telangana from 20, which is the largest network in the steel sector
  • Forward integrated the business by setting up the Cut and Bend Centre in Andhra, Telangana in 2012 with an investment of Rs 10 cr, changing the way tmt rod is sold in India
  • Cut and Bend Division contributes to 15% of the revenue presently
  • Diversifying to flat products (H.R Coils and C.R Coils) from April’2018 onwards adding another Rs 150 cr to the turnover in the next financial year.

Samrat Global Limited is the authorized distributor for Tata Steel (All Products). At Samrat Global, Aditya is involved in:

  • Managed Setting up of office and business. (First FDI in Myanmar in Steel industry)
  • Managed to get a credit line of $ 2 m
  • Negotiated with the government to open the HSN code for trade of steel through FDI
  • Designing strategies for setting up a retail network in Myanmar, which currently is a very unorganized sector
  • Closing the financial year with a sale of $ 2m

Managing Director, Samrat Global Ltd., Yangon, Myanmar (Jan 2018 – Present)

  • Launched and distributed the Tata Tiscon brand of steel products in the country of Myanmar and established an international subsidiary for Samrat group
  • Organized logistics operations including warehousing solutions for smooth import of material from India, Singapore, China and Thailand in order to facilitate local distribution to all parts of Myanmar
